The stress of Secondary 3 life is starting to hit me hard. Like a mallet.
Yes, i am starting to feel somewhat stressed with all the tests bombarding me and piles and piles of endless homework. My friends have changed dramatically too.
I take Ming Kang as an example,
the two Vietnamese scholars sitting beside him has influenced him ( positvely ). Now he has become some super hardworking guy - a complete change from last year. Hmm. I really wish i had the same kind of scholars sitting beside me, to motivate me to work hard. - Yes i am super lazy.
I really guess i need to buck up. Change is eminent, and i am not adapting to it as of yet.
Hardworking
Punctuality in handing up homework
Paying attention
Stay focus

Today is the Chinese New Year celebration of our school. ~
Went to school as usual, put down bag in class and went to assemble.
After morning assembly we had the performances by alumnis (?), scholars and students.
Finally, after two years we have a CNY celebration in the hall.
Previously celebrated CNY in the open, vulnerable to the wraith of the weather.
All the performances were great xD
Even those performances that werent pleasing to the ear proved to be a wonderful comedy act, if that is not the case. ><
Loved the performance by the Scholars ;) Thats cause they were like so enthusiastic about their performance, which cheered me up alot :D
After the celebration we went to distribute oranges to the residences around our campus, as a token of appreciation for their tolerance with the noise level over the 2 years when BPGHS campus was undergoing upgrading.
And who knew, one group was actually dispatched tomy block to give out the oranges! When i came home my maid said that students from my school gave her one bag of oranges :P
After we were dismissed, I went to Lot1 tgt with MingKang. Hes has a sorethroat & flu. Bad combo. Get well soon ! :)
Met up with 'o4 people in Food Junction. Bought Chicken Rice and went to sit with Kester&Jinwee.
After which a series of events happened and i wish not to describe them, to avoid more trouble- for myself :P
Went home with ChongYou. Was supposed to play bball with him but then feeling very tired so decided not to. Sorry ah Chongz if you read this post.
~
Anyways, for those of you who wish to appreciate the true beauty of the song that the duo brothers sang during the celebration, the song name is : Its my Life by Bon Jovi.
They are an awesome band. I was browsing through their songs and found one thats very nice. Its a love song i guess :D Hope you all enjoy it !
ROFL due to some problems with this post ( i think ) I shall post the vid in the next post. So read this first then scroll up to see the video. :D

You know, English is an amazing subject. Tenses, Adjectives and what not.
Have you ever wondered how some of the english words came about? I have too.
Now, most of you would know that there are names for almost every single type of Phobia. Thanks to Zi Yi for making me curious about them, i did a research and you wont believe how ridiculous some of them can get.
I shall now list the most absurd ones. ( As in you will ask yourself ' How the fuck can someone have such a fear?! ' )
Top ranking Phobia
-
BAROPHOBIA
Fear of gravity
Madness at its Best
-
DERMATOPHOBIA
Fear of skin
Dont like school?
-
DIDASKALEINOPHOBIA
Fear of school
Wished you had freedom?
-
ELEUTHROPHOBIA
Fear of freedom
Scared?
-
PHOBOPHOBIA
Fear of fear itself
France is a nice place isint it?
-
GALLOPHOBIA

Why give ourselves so much problems?
Be content with what we have now, isint that what it is supposed to be?
Friends, Family. The important things in life.
Leave those other things for the future. Savour the moment now.

Its finally Friday! :D The best day of the week. Why?
12.30 school end ley! ( Thats a big relief considering that all other days lessons end at 2.30 )
Well, lessons went by as usual.
During English lesson we discussed what kinda cake to buy for the bdae celebration of the month. There were 4 choices. Chocolate, Pandan , Cheese, Fruit. I chose Pandan Cake together with all the jokers. Obviously our choice had the lowest vote.
In the end the results were in favour of Cheesecake. That was super suprising to me. I thought many people did not like cheese. My sister - an example.
Oh well. Majority wins i guess. Heh. I wonder how we gonna put the candles on a Cheesecake. Never seen it done before.
After school stayed back to complete Chinese compo. The first ever chinese homework that i completed on the day it was given! Thanks Miing Kang and the two extras: Benjamen and Chia Hui for accompanying me while i trouble myself with the chinese words.
After completing, Ming Kang and I went to put our compo in our Chinese teacher's pigeon hole. And Ming Kang, on the way there, came up with something sick. Hahas!
Went home after that. He took the bus, I walked.
And now its night time, me here posting this.
Got to go. Cya ~

From the Darkness shadows fade
Shadows, they are like a reflection of yourself. Physically.
They do whatever you have done. They reflect those actions which you have choosen to do.
You do something.
Your shadow shows you your actions. Those actions that can be seen but will never be reversed. Remorse.
From the Darkness shadows fade
I stare at life with vacant eyes
My guiding light no longer bright

Suddenly had a thought and wish to share it. So here is the second post for the day.
I have been looking through blogs of my 3T2 classmates ( without them knowing ><" ) and I realised that majority of them hates the new class as their friends from lower secondary is not here with them - in other words, their best buddies.
The feelings mutual i guess, for I do feel so too. I miss 204. Really. But see the thing is this. Many people miss their secondary 2 classmates, but wasnt this the case when we graduated from Primary school and moved on to Secondary school? I am almost certain in the first few days of our Sec 1 life, many people would have 'disliked' their new class and missed their Primary 6 class, but look now! Each and every Secondary 2 class has bonded so well, wonderful friendships fostered amongst people that were once complete strangers to us.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that we should give our new secondary 3 classes a chance. I know its hard to part with the people whom you have spent 2 wonderful years with, but we cant hold on to the past forever right?
I really hope that in time, we can have a strong bond amongst us 3T2-ians and enjoy our upper sec life together, be it in class or class gathering events.
^___^

* for life is unpredictable, full of suprises around every corner. But in order not to get frightened, we need to adapt to these changes - just like water. Holding on to the past will only leave us stuck in that moment of time, unable to move on. But time waits for no man, so why not move along with it?

You know, I made a resolution this year that i will spend less and save more. I have shared this goal with many of my friends only to get the same response over and over. " Save up for what? "
What i actually planned to get is a PSP Slim - yeah I'm outdated for getting it so late. My parents commented heavily on this, saying that is it such a waste to spend all my savings on a video game console. It was obvious they would rather me spend it on something more productive, perhaps like books or save it up for my education in later years to come.
But then I wonder, does education gurantee you a good job, a promising future ahead? No doubt many rich or successful people have good education qualifications, but does that apply so to everyone else?
I cannot continue further as I am unable to express my thoughts clearly, for they are a little fuzzy - I need opinions. If Benjamen were to read this, I would especially like to hear from you your view on this matter.
Okay so enough of the thought provoking quuestions.
Today I had Astronomy, but before that, went to some enarby coffee shop with Benjamen, Benhardi, Wei Hao & Chia Hui to have lunch. Ordered Hokkien Mee and it was delicious. Benjamen had his 'Tosai' again - a cheap yet filling dish as described so by the consumer himself. ( He had wanted potato in his Tosai but the shop ran out of it -.- )
After Lunch went back to school and headed for Astronomy. And btw to those assholes who moved my bag and set the worksheets underneath flying away, I dont mind if you move my bag
but please for Heavens sake have responsibility for your damned actions and at least put back my worksheets instead of letting them fly away.
Today Astro was just pure reading of books - I learnt 3 things from this session.
No lectures whatsoever because the ' higher intellect' people amongst us were giving the sec 1 applicants an interview and the venue was our Science Team room so we had to go to the Physics lab to read those books.
Its a condusive environment to study. Really. What better place to study than in a warm room in this humid weather plus the noise generated by the school band. ( Please dont get me wrong i love your music when played in cohesion but not when you guys are practising in your individual sections. )
So yeah learnt 3 things from this session. Maybe more but i forgot. Was dismissed at around 5 (?) I guess. Walked home with Daniyal and Wei Hao.
Done.
Is this the longest post I've ever written? I'm not sure.

Yes, probably wondering why i can post today ... coz i forgot to copy down homework so i'm clueless as to what to do - which means free time to blog. Lol! But tomorrow sure kena by teachers... oh well.
Sch today okay larhs, as usual alot of information to cram into my head. Theres one thing i want to highlight though, that is my PE Lesson. For the first time in 3 years studying in this school, i have never seen a class with a PE Lesson as their last period but this has all changed.
My PE Lesson is at the last period.
Still wondering if thats a good thing or a bad thing. -.-
Of course we had it in the indoor sports hall, if not i think i wouldnt be here typing this shit.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyways, Gratz to WoonKiat for getting the higest score among BPAstronomy for the recent test. ( That wld be 25 marks )
Also, gratz all sec 4 of 2008 for finally receiving their Orange Levels. No matter what results you guys got, know that your tried your best (except some (?) ) and thats all that matters.
-Ok gtg

The Late Night Evening
Haish... stress man. First week of school and already bombarded with countless of homework. If this keeps up I think I will require Penadol everyday. ><"
Its no longer the same really... now during weekends i rarely even have the time to play computer... but is this a change for the better? I have no idea. At least i know i'm not addicted to that lame game, cause if i were, i would have already gone mad by not playing it for the entire week.
Okay, short post as it is but thats all i can afford to write. Shall go back to homework now.
-Chinese Ting Xie
-Chinese Compo
-Biology Worksheet
-Read Biology Textbook chapter 2(?)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As the sun sinks down into the horizon, the orange hue of the cloudy skies slowly fades, until darkness takes its place. Where the sun had once been, now lies the pale glow of the moon, watching over all of us with such mysteriousness, such calm and serenity.
